Hello!
I’m Christine, a Filipino-American artist, illustrator & character designer from New Jersey.
I grew up finding joy in cozy library books and filling countless sketchbooks with drawings. I went on to graduate from Montclair State University with a BFA in Animation & Illustration.
I’ve worked on over 20 books for kids, including Lolo's Sari-Sari Store and I Dance!
I’m passionate about illustrating projects that celebrate creativity, culture, and childhood. My hope is that viewers feel with the warmth in the stories and diverse characters present in my work.
When I’m not drawing, I’m snacking on sweets or spending time with my daughters.

Events
I enjoy speaking to students about creativity, showcasing my art at markets, and drawing live portraits at events! I also love teaching classes on book illustration. I’m currently based in North Carolina, and travel up the east coast to New Jersey often.
